Thursley Pavilion

This project is a retrofit of an existing building cheaply built in the early 2010s on a tight budget after an arson attack destroyed the previously existing pavilion. The brief is to create a building that is more harmonious with the adjacent Thursley Conservation Area and becomes a more community facing space extending its use beyond the cricket season.

The building will become a year round community hub and have facilities for many independant local groups. More inclusive facilities will be provided throughout and the finished building will have views out to the Thursley National Nature Preserve.

The project has had significant community support from an engagement process that is ongoing.
